About Georgia
I'm Georgie, I'm a qualified teacher and former journalist from the North of England. I teach English, GCSE & A-Level, Language & Literature. My main subject is Media Studies, which can include Film and Journalism studies too, again at GCSE or A-Level. I enjoy learning and sharing knowledge, so I'm always down for an interesting tangent, so long as you're finding the extra context helpful. I also have a Masters degree in Religion & Sociology, so I can also provide guidance on Religious studies. I'm keen to help however I can.

I like to let my tutees decide the flow and structure of the session, so that I cover any key areas or topics they need the most. At the beginning of every session, I will recap what we covered previously, and go over my plan for the session ahead, checking with the student if they would find this helpful. At the end of every session, I ask them what they would like to cover the following session. We will refer to the exam papers and exam board expectations throughout sessions and check your understanding on any new topics. If you aren't finding things helpful, or you need me to change the pace, I encourage you to interrupt me! My job is to make sure you're getting your moneys' worth.
