About Neil
I have been a teacher since 2007, have qualified as a special educational needs coordinator, and was headteacher of a private school for children with challenging behaviour and who had significant gaps in their education. I have taught a variety of subjects, but my favourites are Geography and Maths, although I have also taught English, Science, and History all to GCSE level.

I work by getting to know the students, and then making lessons relevant to them, so they can see why things are useful. I also like quizzes! I specialise in finding gaps in understanding and using prior knowledge as building blocks for learning
