About Ankur

I am a dedicated and experienced teacher with over 7 years of teaching experience in Physics, Maths, and General Science. I hold an MSc in Physics, a BEd in Mathematics and Science, a UK-recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and an MA in Education Studies from the University of Portsmouth. Teaching has always been more than a profession for me because helping students finally understand a difficult concept is one of the few genuinely satisfying things humans have invented.
I enjoy making complex topics simple, engaging, and relatable for students from different learning backgrounds. My teaching approach focuses on patience, clarity, and building confidence through conceptual understanding and practical problem-solving. Over the years, I have helped many students improve their academic performance, critical thinking, and interest in science and mathematics.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods according to individual needs and goals. My aim is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, thinking independently, and developing skills that support long-term academic success.

About the lesson

My lessons are interactive, well-structured, and focused on helping students build strong conceptual understanding in Physics, Maths, and General Science. I believe students learn best when topics are explained in a simple and practical way, so I use step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, diagrams, and problem-solving methods during lessons. I encourage students to ask questions freely and develop confidence in their understanding rather than relying only on memorisation, which education systems still treat like an Olympic event for some reason.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s learning style, pace, and academic goals. I provide regular practice questions, revision support, and exam-oriented guidance to help students improve both their subject knowledge and performance. My aim is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and actively involved in the learning process. I focus not only on improving grades but also on developing logical thinking, curiosity, and independent learning skills that benefit students beyond examinations.
