About Shona
I had over 20 years experience of working in a business environment prior to teaching ESOL English. I have been teaching ESOL English for over 10 years, so I have a wealth of business and teaching skills which underpin my ability to successfully teach ESOL English for presentations, email writing, telephone conversations, shorthand, in-person and online meeting participation, negotiations and interview preparation.
I also teach learners preparing to sit Cambridge First Certificate and Cambridge Advanced examinations.
In addition, I teach learners who simply wish to improve their English Conversational skills.
I am happy to design a bespoke learning plan to take you further on your learning journey.

I aim to create a safe, fun learning environment in which you will feel comfortable speaking with me. I strongly believe in giving learners as much talking time as possible.
Together we will design a bespoke lesson plan which meets your learning requirements. We will use a blended approach to lessons using a variety of open learning resources freely available online. Each lesson will last 60 minutes and we can communicate either via Skype, Zoom, Google Meets, Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp.
