About Regan
I have 5+ professional years of working in Education with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special needs in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Special Education classrooms. I have worked on over a dozen clinical ABA Therapy Companies and Southern California school districts, in the direct implementation of treatment programs and adapted academic school work. I have a B.S. in Psychology with an emphasis on childhood and adolescent development. Next, I plan on becoming a Special Needs Educator, applying for a mild / severe teaching credential, and completing my masters in Education.
I have been working in Elementary, Middle, and Highschool SPED classes for well over 5 years. In addition, I have obtained my CBEST**, which proves my ability to understand, teach, and adapt the k-12 academic curriculum. I am also a registered RBT** from my years of in-home ABA therapy. I feel comfortable not only in the classroom but helping families understand their children with Autism and creating ways to help adapt the home to their family needs. I also have had years of professional expertise helping Pre-K students with learning to learn skills (LtL), social play, and independent functional play skills.
