About Umar
My name is Umar, I am currently a university student studying quantity surveying with experience in tutoring. Throughout my GCSE years my favourite subject was maths, which also was my strongest subject. I went on to study maths at A-Level and currently am studying a mathematical course at university. Being young and having that recent experience at secondary and sixth-form has given me a fresh insight on how the syllabus is and how the exams were. I would be able to pass on to my students how I was able to tackle the exams and provide them with the best teaching and advice to enhance them in their abilities.

I will be teaching KS2 and KS3 students to help them prepare for their SAT’s or GCSE exams. This only includes students ranging from year 2 - year 11 (7 years old - 16 years old).
Lessons will be 2 hours long, which are tailored to the students syllabus for the exams they will take place.
Every topic will be split over the academic year to ensure relevant content is covered in depth and in time for exam season.
Regular tests will take place to highlight strong and weak points of the students. Where an area of weakness is shown, extra support will be provided to the student to strengthen them in the required areas.
Students will have 24/7 support outside of lessons, incase they have any questions related to their work or any homework which is either set by myself or from their school.
A topic of a scheduled lesson can change if a student requests to cover a certain topic.
