About Tri
My name is Tri, and I am a second-year Master’s student in organic chemistry at Queen’s University, where I have worked as a teaching assistant for CHEM 112 (general chemistry) and CHEM 282 (organic chemistry).
Teaching is my favorite part of graduate school. In official course evaluations, my students consistently describe me as patient, approachable, and clear — someone who checks in with everyone, explains the reasoning behind each concept rather than just the steps, and creates an environment where no question ever feels embarrassing to ask.
Academically, I hold a 3.8 GPA with A+ grades in every chemistry course I have taken, including all of my organic chemistry courses. I am also an active researcher in organic synthesis, currently preparing my work for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

My lessons are built around one goal: making chemistry and math feel logical instead of overwhelming.
I am a second-year Master’s student in organic chemistry, and I teach chemistry, organic chemistry, physics-chemistry, and math to high school and university students.
A typical lesson starts from your own course material — your syllabus, problem sets, or past exams — so everything we cover is directly relevant to your grade. Rather than memorizing reactions and formulas, you will learn the underlying patterns and mechanisms step by step, then apply them to exam-style problems until you can solve them confidently on your own.
Lessons are available online or in person in Kingston. I am happy to adapt the pace and format to your needs: weekly sessions, homework support, or intensive exam preparation.
