About Rachel
being in my mid 20's i'm proud of what i've accomplished with in my music career. starting when i was 10 years old, singing cover songs with a band who performed at a local rugby club every weekend. to becoming a teenager, and becoming the lead singer in a band which i'd be in for nearly a decade, which would go on to win Battle Of the Bands, performing all over Birmingham, at venues like the 02 academy, The institute, sunflower lounge, The Jam House and the list goes on. We also wrote 3 EP's in which our original songs were played on BBC Introducing. We went on to play at festivals and different cities such as Leeds. Leading up to the pandemic, where i released my first solo EP with my original songs, which were also played on BBC introducing. Now at the minute my music career consists of playing regular paid gigs at restaurants, bars and weddings, recording songs for potential tv use, and continuing to write and record original solo music.
I want to share my passion and love for singing and the connection that brings us to music with students of all ages. I can teach you how to strengthen your voice and make it your own, but also i can give you insight of what it's like in the music industry, if you wish to be part of that, and with my experience, help guide you through it.

During our lessons, i want to make sure that my students feel at ease and that they're in a friendly environment. The aim is not only to improve our voices, but to find our own voice, and what makes it unique, to stand out from the crowd. That's why it's important to me to get to know my students so that we can work on songs suited to their voice and style.
We'd always start off with a vocal warm up to ensure we don't do any accidental damage or put too much strain on our vocal cords
the following is what would be included in my lessons which usually would be an hour, however i'm happy to do half an hour lessons or more as well.

I should mention my qualifications as well. in 2015 I started college at BOA, which is known as “the sister school of Brits School in London”, I got a place there that year out of 1500 people, and came out with a triple grade distinction in music performance.
