My name is Brit, and I am currently attending Metro in Denver for a degree in biochemistry with a minor in mathematics. While I prefer to stay away from tutoring anyone in physics, I am willing to tutor anyone that needs help in math (levels up through Calculus II), chemistry (General Chemistry I & II and Analytical Chemistry), biology (General Biology I & II and Genetics), and English. Personally, I think the best way to learn is to go through a lot of sample problems after learning the basics. It's important to try sample problems that require deeper thought, various techniques, and many different concepts. A great student must be willing to answer questions, ask questions, and try new things in order to learn.
I am a college student that has some tutoring experience. In high school, I was a tutor in math, chemistry, biology, and English. Many students were sent to me in order to learn concepts covered on exams so they were able to pass both their test and class. I understand the importance of getting a stellar grade, especially for college applications, and if the student is willing to put in 100%, so am I.
