I have known Federico for years: he was one of my tutees when I was a tutor at the Royal College of Art. We've been friends ever since. He is idiosyncratic, good-natured, but also astute. After he left the RCA and began to teach himself, we worked together on one of his workshops with the homeless, and I noticed that his clients trusted him and felt comfortable in his presence.
