About Neal

Do you experience math anxiety, exam stress, or simply lack confidence in your math skills? Or perhaps you want to boost your grades from average to excellent. No matter your skill level or starting point, I am here to support you on your journey to building the skills you need to become self-sufficient and to reach your goals.

My tutoring methods have yielded positive results for students who received support for secondary-level math and physics. Currently, I am a masters student in computer science at UQAM. I am fluently bilingual in French and English.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on building strong foundations and breaking down math concepts into clear, manageable steps. Each lesson is adapted to individual pace and goals, whether we're reviewing schoolwork, preparing for an exam, or tackling new topics.

My philosophy is that there is no such thing as being bad at math; the formula for success is a combination of understanding and practice. I am here to provide you with the tools to understand: clear and flexible explanations, adjusted to your current knowledge level, strengths and learning style. Ask unlimited questions and have concepts explained until they click, then practice until they stick. My tutoring program will allow you to build the foundations needed to develop a solid understanding of how to apply formulas in any situation.
