About Rhone
I taught in person and virtual learning environments. In both I strive to make sure students observe professionalism in my teaching content, my class organization, and my requiring a rigorous assessment via exams and research papers that allow students to see where they can improve and to consider ways to advance the discipline of Black Studies.

I taught at Temple, Princeton, Howard, and Penn State Universities. I earned my Master's Degree at the University of South Florida, and my doctoral degree from Temple University. I am the author of three books: "Pauline Hopkins and Advocacy Journalism," (2019), "Critical Responses About the Black Family in Toni Morrison's 'God Help the Child,'" (2020) and most recently "To A More Positive Purpose: Critical Responses to the Scholarship of Tony Martin" (2024).
