About Jennifer
Hello! I’m a certified educator with more than 30 years of experience helping children learn, grow, and believe in themselves. I hold a master’s degree in Science Education and certifications in Early Childhood Education, PK–6, and 4–8 Science.
I specialize in early literacy, the Science of Reading, and elementary science. My lessons are encouraging, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I use hands-on activities, real-world connections, and clear step-by-step instruction to make learning meaningful and fun.
I believe every child can succeed with the right support—and that every child is a scientist! My goal is to build your child’s skills, confidence, and genuine love of learning.

Reading skills all build on the skills previously taught. If any of the foundations are missing, the reading castle will crumble. Using the Science of Reading (SOR), I will detect the hurdles that are making learning to read difficult, and WE will overcome them. We will use hands-on learning, online learning, and home ideas to continue growth.
