Reading Specialist with 26 years of teaching experience looking for students to inspire

When I was in 4th grade at Southmont Elementary, Asheboro NC, she became more than a teacher to me. She was more like a mother. Any time I needed help, she always offered extra time with me after school when needed. Honestly, when she moved away, it felt like a true family member moved. Again, she’s always been more than a teacher to me. She loves her students like her own and treats them as such. She shows so much love and compassion towards her students and honestly, she was the teacher that made the biggest impression on me throughout all of my 12 years in school.
