About James
I'm a real estate investment professional with 8+ years' experience managing property portfolios, most recently as a portfolio manager. I studied at LSE and started out on a graduate scheme, so I know the route into this industry from both ends.
I mentor students and young professionals, and I love making a complex industry simple and accessible. My style is practical and straight-talking: I'll tell you what actually matters and what doesn't.

Want to break into real estate investment, or move up in it? I've spent 8+ years managing real estate and investment portfolios, and I'll teach you how the industry actually works - not the textbook version.
Every lesson is tailored to where you are: students and graduates learning the fundamentals (valuation, investment appraisal, how deals really get done), career changers preparing for interviews and assessment centres, or professionals looking to sharpen their asset management skills.
I also help with CVs, cover letters and interview prep. I've come through a graduate scheme and senior interviews myself, so I know exactly what employers are looking for.
Lessons are online or in person in London, with feedback after each session.
No jargon, no lectures - practical, honest insight from someone who does the job

James has given me a lot of confidence in my approach to learning a new language. He has a lot of patience, is very thorough and takes his time to listen and explain. I would hot hesitate to recommend him.
