I go “speak first, refine later” with tiny real‑life dialogues—introductions, ordering, directions, asking for help—spoken slowly in natural French with quick English clarifications, then we switch back to French to consolidate. Micro‑readings, practical writing tasks (emails, forms, short messages), and exam‑style prompts build usable language without overload.
