About Cassidy
I have extensive experience and education in: ● All facets of music technology, including, but not limited to, music production, mixing (both studio and live), and recording. ● Music composition and songwriting ● Music theory, aural skills, music notation, etc. I always try to make my lessons fun, engaging and collaborative. I take a student-centered approach in my instruction, and we create a plan from there. I also love getting to know my students beyond the lesson material. You may be surprised at the inspiration that can come from hobbies, life experiences, etc. However, you never have to disclose if you are not comfortable! I look forward to working with you in your learning journey!

Improvement, NOT perfection! My lessons are creatively tailored to the student. No student learns the same, and I recognize that. I teach all ages 6+, but require an adult be present for any student under 9. I can also teach beginner through advanced students. My education and my career in the collegiate setting provide me with the tools and skills to teach such a vast array of students. My first lesson is FREE in an effort to get to know you as a student and an individual. I have a BA in Music Technology and Composition from New Mexico Highlands University and an MM in Music Technology from Southern Utah University and teach at New Mexico Highlands University. I look forward to meeting you!
