About Alysa

I have a Bachelors of Art in Psychology and a minor in biology, as I was working on my college degree I also enrolled into a 200-hour yoga teacher training program. In my undergrad experience I taught yoga every Tuesday and Thursday as a part of my senior research project looking at the effects of mindfulness on college students. After graduating both college and YTT I continued these practices by teaching virtual group and private sessions, in-person group and private sessions, and privates sessions for sports teams and other organizations.

My teaching approach is to create a loving and welcoming atmosphere by using culturally relevant tools based upon the individuals I am teaching. I aim to make everyone comfortable by asking about individual needs and wants from the yoga practice.
