About Mateus
When I was in school I also relied on tutoring to clarify and make sure I was on the right track. So I understand the importance of it and I will do my best to go over the material as clearly as possible. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where the students feel encouraged to ask questions.

-The lesson will be taught using the students' materials.
-Students should send their class exercises (from school) before our lesson, so the tutor can share the screen using Zoom or Google Meet and go over the questions together.
-Please send your questions at least one day before our lesson, so I can prepare and organize the material.
-I can teach in both English and Portuguese. I was born in San Francisco, CA, and raised in Brazil. Later, I returned to the USA and graduated in biology from San Diego State University. During my course, I took a few math classes, including calculus 1. Therefore, I am comfortable tutoring middle school and high school-level math. I can also help with ESL and biology.
