About Nathan
Hello!
My name is Mr. Smith and I am recent graduate from PLNU with a B.S. degree in Chemistry. I also recently completed my California Teacher's Credential and will begin working as a teacher starting next school year. Aside from teaching private lesson for over 5 years, I have worked as a science teacher and a college lab professor.
I am excited for oppurtunities to support and mentor young students who are wanting to excel in the areas of middle school and high school science and mathematics. I have a passion for helping students thrive and the skills to do so. I have tutored high school and college chemistry, math, and biology. I would be thrilled to find ways to help you reach your goals too!

- Lessons begin with an exploration of a phenomenon that make the lesson content more tangible. We always understand the scienctific or mathematical foundation before jumping into solving problems.
- Lesson plans focus on what the skills the student need to build. The first session will be spend working towards understanding the student's goals, strengths, and weakness. I will prepare explorations, demos, and practice problems that work towards those goals.
- I am a unique tutor as I bring high levels scientific and mathematical knowledge with graduate level training. I am a vibrant and passionate educator.
- I am looking for students who want to excel at middle school, high school, or university level science and math.
