About Alba
I am a recent Chemistry Masters graduate from the University of Edinburgh, currently preparing to begin PhD studies.
I have been tutoring students for 5 years in both languages and sciences, the latter at a higher level. I began tutoring during my A levels. Following my twelve A*-A grades at GCSE, I volunteered to help GCSE students in maths and sciences. I have also been a private tutor to both emerging English and Spanish language learners. More recently I have worked with TeachFirst in their STEM program for high schools.
Beyond academics, I am also a qualified rock climbing instructor. This has provided me with experience tailoring classes to different levels, and most importantly, making them fun!
