About Jason
I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Sciences in Earth and Environmental Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a minor in mathematics. I have no formal tutoring experience, but frequently helped fellow students in the EaES department, especially when they were struggling with physics, chemistry, and mathematics. I have found it very rewarding and fun to help others work through struggles that I have experienced throughout my academic career, and hope to help others achieve success!

I try to emphasize the underlying concepts and definitions to help students achieve a working knowledge. Once a good conceptual knowledge is achieved then I focus on what I consider to be the most important part of the learning process: working problems. Therefore, my method involves understanding the important concepts and applying them to problems to gain a good working knowledge.
