About Isabelle
Hi my name is Issy!
I have recently completed Maths, Chemistry and Biology A Levels and Further Maths AS level at Barton Peveril College and I received A*A*AA grades. I also have a 9 in Maths GCSE and an 8 in Further Maths GCSE. I really enjoy studying and I especially have a passion for maths and the sciences.
This year I decided to take a gap year to spend more time understanding what I want to do in the future and tutoring is something I would love to do during this time. I have always enjoyed helping my peers during college and I tutored one of my friends in maths GCSE. I worked with him for 10 weeks, an hour each week, and by the time he reached his exam he felt confident and so passed with a grade 5.

My lesson plans:
During my first lesson with each student I will work with them to understand their goals and how together we can reach them. Then, I would create a personalised plan for each student for the following weeks. Together we will go over parts of the specification the student struggles with until they feel confident to do questions by themselves. I will also set a small amount of homework each week so the student can practice independently. I will also be available by email for the student to contact me with any questions they have during the week.
