About Saskia
I’m Saskia, a 22-year-old recent graduate with a First Class BSc in Psychology from King’s College London. My academic journey sparked a deep interest in developmental psychology, particularly in how it plays out in real-world situations. For my final year dissertation, I explored the relationship between socioeconomic status and theory of mind in children and adolescents. At A-Level I received an A in psychology, studying the AQA syllabus.
Beyond academics, I’ve been passionate about ballet since I was little, and now I have the pleasure of teaching it to younger children. I’m committed to making a positive difference in everything I do, and I’m excited to help you achieve your educational goals :)

I believe learning should be enjoyable as well as effective, and that’s what I aim for in every lesson. I know that everyone learns differently, so I don’t stick to a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I adapt my teaching style to fit what works best for you. Whether you’re more into visuals, hands-on activities, or engaging discussions, I make sure each session is tailored to keep you interested and help you grasp those complex concepts. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions, tackling challenges, and building confidence! :)
Typically, my lessons last about an hour, but I’m flexible! If you need a quick 30 minute review or want to dive deeper into a topic for 90 minutes, we can make it work. The key is to ensure that each session fits your pace and helps you progress without feeling overwhelmed.
Tutoring is something I’ve really grown to enjoy, especially after recently graduating with a degree in psychology. Over the past year, I’ve worked with A-Level psychology students, helping them get ready for exams and make sense of some tougher topics. While I’m still early in my tutoring journey, I’m more than happy to help university students too, whether it’s tackling essays or diving into more complex material. I’m always picking up new techniques to make sure I’m giving the best support I can.
Having worked mostly with A-Level students, I am more than happy to support them with the psychology syllabus, coursework, and general essay practise. However, I am also keen to help university students with their psychology work. Having just come out of it myself, I still remember how tough it was going into first year having no clue where or how to start! So, I would love to give university students the boost that they may need. My sessions are designed to be supportive, challenging, and most importantly, enjoyable! :)
