I’m a recent Economics and Mathematics graduate from the University of Edinburgh with over two years of tutoring experience. For my lessons, you will provide a general topic that you are currently studying, or want to begin to understand. I will then prepare a lesson which will be anywhere between 30 mins to 2 hours. My teaching style is highly interactive and practical — I avoid long lectures and instead focus on teaching in bite-sized, easy-to-digest chunks. After covering each concept, I provide practice questions to help solidify understanding. I use a smart pad to write out and explain answers clearly, ensuring students not only know how to solve problems but also understand the reasoning behind them. Maths is about building blocks - I will only move onto a new topic when the previous one is well understood!
