About Hunter
I have been passionate about the study of history since I was about 14 years old. I decided from the moment I graduated high school that I wanted to be a Historian. I received my B.A. in History from the University of Southern Mississippi where I specialized in European and Russian History. I decided I wanted to get my Master's in U.S. Political History because of the current state of politics in the country and to better understand current partisan politics and policies.

I have a fairly laid-back approach to teaching history. Typically my lessons are with one to five students for a class, usually at the high school and undergraduate level. I want to get across to my students why what they're studying matters and how it affects us as a people in the modern era. I usually assign light reading just so my students have context for what the discussion will be about.
