I am a recent graduate with a 1st class degree in mechanical engineering and a master's in biomedical engineering from TCD. Teaching subjects include biology, maths, and science, up to college level.

About Rebecca
I am a student at Trinity and have had experience in primary schools, teaching children from ages 6 to 10. I understand students at higher levels, i.e., up to college, are very different to teach- but I am still learning myself (due to my Master's), and understand and appreciate how each student is different and benefits from tailored teaching. I really love teaching and believe I have the patience, knowledge, and people skills to make the student comfortable to learn and grow their confidence in the subject.

The length of lessons is flexible, aiming for 45-60 mins. I would methodically work through the subject, focussing on any areas that aren't grasped as strongly. Similarly, I would go through questions with them and work through any problems we came across, pinpointing the challenging points, getting to the root of the confusion, and helping their understanding in that area. My lessons are aimed at anyone from primary schools (for wider, more general learning and practice) to college-level (specifically maths, engineering, and biology).
