About Daniela
I am a recent graduate from Dartmouth College with a BA in Anthropology and Biology on a premedical track. I was a teacher's assistant for various chemistry and biology courses, and tutored high school kids as well. I'm currently working as a medical assistant and guiding other students through the college admissions process.

My tutoring approach is centered on demystifying complex scientific concepts by focusing on the underlying "why" rather than just the "what," transforming rote memorization into a logical and memorable narrative. Leveraging my background in biology and pre-med, I employ a Socratic, active-learning method where I guide students—from high school through college-level courses—to discover answers through targeted questions, solidifying their critical thinking skills. This is complemented by customizing each session to address individual knowledge gaps and learning styles, whether for a specific AP Biology class or collegiate organic chemistry. What sets me apart is integrating this deep conceptual mastery with practical college advising, providing a unique mentorship that builds both academic proficiency and the confidence to excel in the scientific and pre-medical fields.
