About Abigail
I have taken 35 credits of French over the past 3 years at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and have recently completed Advanced French Grammar and Communication 2. The university of Minnesota is well respected for their French programs and classes and over these past few years I have become proficient at reading, writing, listening and speaking conversational French and have completed my courses with good grades learning not only the language but also the culture of different French speaking regions around the world.

I cover all 4 language skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening in an interactive lesson so my student is actively engaged. I also make sure there in an objective or focus for each lesson.
I like to break down a lesson into 4 parts:
the warmup, where past material is briefly discussed and the material to go over that day is introduced,
the lecture where new words, grammar, and expression is taught, the activity, a game or interactive learning experience where the student gets to practice using the new concepts learned that day and finally
the conclusion where I summarize what was learned and ask the students to make sentences using what we learned that day to ensure the concept was understood. Here I also give some homework/practice exercises for the student to complete before our next lesson.
These lessons are tailored for beginner to advanced beginner French students of all ages.
