I am a university student at Griffith University. Although I don’t have any professional tutoring experience, I grew up teaching my younger siblings at home! I love working with kids, I’m super patient, and I believe I explain concepts in a way that is easy to understand!

I’ve found that teaching things on a step-by-step basis works very well. For example, I’ll teach someone ‘step x’, and never move on to ‘step y’ until they fully understand ‘step x’. I also love answering questions. It makes me feel like the person I’m tutoring is much more engaged. I also think that building a personal relationship with the student is a great way to go. The last thing I’d want is for them to see me as nothing more than a teacher. I want them to feel comfortable when I’m in the room :)
