About Jim
I'm a recent college student looking for work in the build up to results day and university. I've always had a passion for history, perhaps passed on by my dad who was previously a teacher in the subject, and am now looking to pass on my enthusiasm and knowledge of the subject to new students.
Given my very recent experience of GCSE and A-level study I believe I can offer a more understanding and personal approach towards exam progression.

During my time as a paid peer mentor for my college I've developed a number of personal methods and resources in combination with professional advice from my own teachers in order to make History as accessible as possible for individual students. I aim to use my own recent experience of study to create personalised lessons, usually around an hour long, taking into account the student's own level of work.
Willing to tutor on History at A-level or GCSE level having studied the British Empire and Birth of the USA topics at AQA A-level (in addition to coursework) and the Russia, Elizabethan and Medicine modules at AQA GCSE level.
