Hi! I am a recent IGCSE graduate offering economics and accounting tutoring for IGCSE students. Having completed the syllabus and achieved high results, I am well-familiar with the subject.

I highly recommend Hillary as an Economics and Accounting tutor. As her classmate, she is very patient when explaining concepts I don’t understand, especially with graphs and calculations. She explains them step by step in a way that is easy to understand. I have gained a lot of confidence in both Economics and Accounting because of her teaching.

when I say I 100% recommend her, i REALLY mean it. Shes like those friends who teach u the whole syllabus 10 mins before the final exam and u somehow learn it better and remember it more than taking 2 hour lectures in class . I swear on her & she’s my holy grail I’ve been trying to gatekeep but fr her talent needs more recognition.

To look formal - I’ve always been bad at math; naturally. I remember failing my first year of tests, which led me to getting a tutor (who was 10 years older) , don’t get me wrong it did help - I went from a D to C, but I didn’t find him as effective, and mostly dreaded the thought of class - basically dozing off and even almost falling asleep during the sessions. From Hillary’s help, I’ve scored A’s to A* for subjects like math, English, and the fundamentals of econs & business. I found that having a tutor near your age range is far more effective than one that is a decade older, simply because they’ve experienced the same things and understand teaching styles that work on different types of learners. (Teaching styles + syllabus were different 10 years ago).

Hillary is an effective tutor, who’s patient and intricate when teaching. From giving in depth information - to providing creative ways to relating the info to real life situations, I find her classes extremely useful & fun! It really feels more of having a one on one study session with a friend more than a tutor class that’s strict and full of tension. She’s understanding and won’t make you dread the thought of tuition and feel like you want class to end immediately.

Overall, from her help I’ve achieved an A* in Maths & English, even achieving a scholarship of 25% off on tuition fees (RM11k) .
