About Jacob

I first started tutoring 5 years ago, beginning primarily with younger students teaching primary school standard material. Over the years, I have expanded my horizon to teaching all ages up to 18, and my experience because of this has prepared me to be an effective, charismatic, and personable tutor.

About the lesson

My tutoring sessions have largely moved online in recent years, with all my previous students ranging from ages 10-17 in various subjects. The typical length of my sessions are 1 hour, however they can be longer if necessary! My teaching methodology is very much inquiry based, with content mixed in with questions and quizzes throughout the lesson. Depending on the topic, working on exam technique is a must, something a lot of students struggle with. Of course, this varies depending on the student, however I have achieved some excellent results with my methodologies.
