About Cassandra
I chose to Major in Applied Mathematics at UMass Amherst because I genuinely love math problems. Throughout high school and college, I often tutored friends and assisted with homework for free. My eight years experience in the restaurant industry has allowed me to become very adaptable and effective when it comes to communication so I would do well helping anyone with any background. I am super passionate about Math and would love to help others succeed, especially since I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I have tutored all ages from elementary students to college students and know how to adapt my teaching style accordingly. Not everyone learns the same way and I am fully aware of this, which is why I seriously consider a student's learning style before proceeding with any form of instruction. I am friendly, positive, and patient, which I believe and have seen to be very effective.
