About Ayisha
Having recently graduated with a distinction in MSc Cancer from UCL, I am currently planning to pursue a PhD in cancer research. My passion for research primarily stemmed from reading and watching a lot of science fiction during my childhood, which sparked my curiosity about the vast potential of science to solve real-world problems. This early fascination evolved into a deep love for reading, a hobby that continues to inspire me! I started tutoring when I was 16 years old, and it was my very first job. This experience instilled in me a passion for helping students reach their full potential. I am dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. During my academic journey, I particularly enjoyed conducting experiments as part of my research projects. The experience of designing and performing experiments deepened my appreciation for the scientific process. My ultimate goal is to contribute to improving outcomes for patients through innovative cancer research. I aspire to be part of the scientific community by making a meaningful impact on patient care and quality of life.

I have over four years of experience tutoring students (KS2–KS5) in Maths and Sciences, both offline and online. I am currently interested in pursuing a career in cancer research. My strong foundation in natural sciences enables me to offer students not only theoretical knowledge but also real-world applications, inspiring them to see the relevance of these subjects in everyday life and future careers. Each lesson typically lasts ~1-2 hours (+short break during 2 hour lessons). As someone passionate about education and research, I bring enthusiasm and commitment to every tutoring session, aiming to instil both knowledge and a genuine love for learning in my students. I am dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.
