About Rishav
I have a keen interest in teaching philosophy, having spent the past 3 years teaching voluntarily at youth organizations to groups of 50+ aged 13-35. I have excelled in philosophy modules at university with a first-class average (74) over 4 years. My strengths are being able to reduce complex and abstract ideas into simple and logical arguments. Would love to teach anyone and it would be great to get to know someone new in the process!

1. I believe the biggest challenge of philosophy is being able to reduce something highly complex and abstract into something simple and understandable. I always begin with identifying the core ideas and arranging them into a clear line of argumentation. This requires knowing which resources to look at and learning how to interpret the confusing language of philosophers.
2. I also teach the importance of creativity and imagination. These are essential skills for making your work stand out as they allow you to find interesting lines of argument/critiques.
3. Before writing an essay I teach the importance of structure; how to get a first-class structure for a philosophy essay using simple headings/categories.
