About James
- Having just come from sitting SQA exams up to Advanced Higher level I think one of my greatest strengths is a very in depth knowledge of the course - which I'd love to share.
- I had some of the highest marks in Scotland achieving A-1s in all my subjects and winning the Dux award for academic excellence at my school.
- I've been tutoring in person around my hometown of Linlithgow for a little over 6 months now and in just a few months students have felt more comfortable with the course as a whole and showed a big improvement in their results.

The most important part of learning is developing your own understanding and I really encourage students to do this through tailor made practice questions which help build towards the exam questions. I constantly adapt the teaching in order to promote this. For this reason I prefer to tutor in person - whether that be at a students home, or in a third party location - whatever suits best. I find it helps to really understand what the student is thinking. Sessions typically last 1hr.
