About April
I tutored during the Pandemic in Canvas & in person and like most subjects. I also use visual pictures & other manipulatives to increase understanding of subjects.
Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds and I am able to teach with understanding and compassion.

I am also a Special Education teacher with a lot of patience & experience teaching a diverse group of students.
I have also worked as an Inclusion teacher in Biology, and English, and spent 10 years teaching middle school math, English & NM History. I also play flute, piccolo & piano & sing, so I am able to tutor in music. I have experience teaching Financial Literacy & my first degree is a Bachelor of Accountancy.
I have experience in public and private Accounting.
