About Jordyn

I have been a private tutor for over four years, teaching all levels of mathematics from beginner to AP and college level. I have been tutoring math and reading at Kumon learning center for two years, working with elementary, middle, and high school students. I am also a STEM tutor with UCLA Bruins for Accessible Education. I took advanced courses in calculus, linear algebra, physics, statistics, programming, and more during my time at UCLA, so I feel very comfortable tutoring a variety of STEM subjects.

About the lesson

My typical lesson plans will start by figuring out what subjects the student needs the most guidance with. We will do an in depth review of all the important concepts to ensure they are fully understood. Then we can begin working through practice problems together to practice applications of the newly learned concepts. The lessons will always be modified and adjusted to fit the specific needs of every student. I have experience working with students of all grade levels, from Kindergarten through high school.
