About Brett
I recently graduated from the University of Calgary with a bachelor's degree in chemistry with a GPA of 3.6. I have been giving private lessons in high school chemistry since January 2021. While I am searching for a job in my field of study, I truly enjoy tutoring chemistry and I look forward to helping my students achieve success in their chemistry courses.

In a typical class, I begin with covering the theory of the topic at hand. This is to ensure the student understands why we are studying the topic, and to flesh out any terminology associated that may be unfamiliar to the student. Once I am confident the student grasps the concept, I do some sample problems myself so the student can see the approach to different questions. Then I will give some problems for the student to figure out, guiding them towards the solution without explicitly stating it.
