About Noah
I am a graduate of Williams College with a BA in Religion and lots of classes in biology, ecology, and art. I have worked as a writing, biology, and acting teacher for 5th graders, middle school, and early high schoolers. My writing has gotten me several competitive research grants, acceptances to top schools, and a perfect GPA at the top college in the country. I absolutely love teaching, and seeing you progress is my personal goal.
Some other fun facts about me: I speak native French, I'm learning Russian. I am an avid birdwatcher and lover of yoga, which I studied in India.

Hi!
My name is Noah, and I have been tutoring and teaching for almost 6 years. I studied both the humanities and biology at the top liberal arts college in the country. As a tutor, I use those skills to help you or your child with academic writing and critical reading, including the SAT/ACT reading and writing sections and the college essay.
If you need help with a specific task, such as writing a tough paper, planning or editing your college essay, or building critical reading skills for a major test, we will jump right into the action.
If you are looking for general help, my interdisciplinary approach to tutoring sets me apart. I can (and have!) tutored multiple subjects (biology, math, history, literature, grammar). Instead of focusing just one subject, I try to help struggling students improve their overall performance in school and become stronger learners. My own academic success came from how I was thinking not what I knew.
My first session typically involves identifying skills to improve and setting goals, after which I design custom lesson plans tailored to your needs. I am known for my patience, positivity, and intellectual curiosity.
