About Monty
Growing up in Norway and moving to England at the age of 16, I've had my fair share of crucial life experiences. Adapting to life in another country appeared to be more of a challenge than I expected, yet it taught me valuable life lessons. Studying at international schools from year 1 to year 13, I am familiar with the attitude required for students to achieve the best they can and how as a teacher, to bring that out of students. With some experience working at a school as a cover teacher, I found joy in helping others learn, which is why I have decided to become an online tutor.

I strive to engage my students in the content and motivate them to approach learning with a positive mindset. As someone who has just recently held their IB diploma exams, I can relate to feelings of lack of motivation and enthusiasm when it comes to revising for exams or learning unfamiliar content. Connecting with my students on such a level provides a basis to achieve the very best results. This strategy will unlock enthusiasm for the chosen subject and unlock the hidden potential within my students!
