About Ana
My name is Ana Balan, and as a recent A-Level student, I know firsthand how demanding Maths, Biology, and Chemistry can be. I want to help students avoid the difficulties I faced by sharing the revision techniques, exam strategies, and shortcuts that helped me succeed. My aim is to make learning easier, boost confidence, and help every student reach their full academic potential.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. Having recently completed my A-Levels, I have studied the specifications in depth and understand exactly what exam boards expect. I carefully cover every part of the course to ensure no topic is missed, while breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations. Lessons are focused on building confidence, strengthening exam technique, and achieving top grades. I am most experienced with AQA Biology, OCR Chemistry, and Edexcel Maths, and therefore prefer tutoring students following these specifications.
