About Lauren

I have recently completed my A Levels and was unsure if University was for me. Therefore, I decided to take a gap year to decide what I enjoy and would like to develop a career in. Over this gap year I have discovered that I loved Psychology at A Level and missed studying it so wanted to study it further at University after all. Furthermore, I felt that I wanted to help other students achieve great success in their A Levels and as I have only recently taken mine I feel I have an advantage of understanding students and knowing what examiners look for to get students the marks. Therefore, I feel my gap year would be well spent tutoring students to achieve success in subjects I enjoy.

About the lesson

My lessons will keep students engaged by using a variety of methods such as, power points, worksheets, discussions and videos. The typical length of a lesson will be 1 hour. My qualifications include 10 GCSE's all 7 and above and A Level Psychology, Chemistry and PE. I received an A* in Psychology and an A in PE so will be available to tutor students in both subjects at A Level. I feel I would be a great tutor for students at this level as I have had previous experience of taking my A Levels less than a year ago. Therefore, I am able to understand the student and provide them with the best knowledge and skills for how to succeed in their exams. Additionally, I have a confirmed place at Loughborough University to further study Psychology at an Undergraduate level.
I hope that every student feels I understand them and will support them through the exam period.
