About Noah
I'm a recent graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, from Asheville, North Carolina. I am passionate about scientific inquiry and mathematical literacy, as well as teaching and coaching young people to think profoundly and critically.
I ran Track and Cross Country in high school and college, and competed on UNC's intercollegiate sailing team. I also perform on fiddle for the Carolina Bluegrass Band. In my free time, I read like to exercise and read sci-fi, fantasy and literature.

I take a wholistic approach to my tutoring, I seek to find a subject that my student has a basic knowledge and interest in, where we can jointly find the patterns that show up in in that subject, such as discussing the mathematical relationships between the frequencies in their favorite music.
What sets me apart as teacher is my ability to empathize with my students and find the points that are most challenging for them to understand. I am no stranger to intimidating formulas and language barriers, and I always go the extra mile to locate the impedances in understanding.
