About Jahmal
I have recently graduated from the University of Birmingham with a 2:1 in Maths with Business Management. I am hard-working, self-driven, highly motivated individual who knows how to get the best out of the students I tutor. I am a strong believer in setting targets and working hard to achieve these goals. I believe that Maths is best understood when delivered in a relaxed, controlled environment. I believe my knowledge of the subject as well as my approachable demeanour contributes to me being able to tutor maths in a way that makes Maths easier to understand and more enjoyable. I believe my method evokes a confidence in my students which enable them to feel confident in their overall problem solving ability. My goal is to help my tutee to a point where they no longer need me and they are entirely confident in their own mathematical ability. As a result of this they will have an understanding of every mathematical concept they will face and will consequently be able to tackle every type of problem that they could face in an examination.
