About Rachel
I graduated with honors in 2019 with degrees in English and political science. My primary concentrations in English were English literature and poetry, editing, and theory. I also spent three years doing paid research in the English department, presented on my work at two European Studies conferences and numerous other talks, and received the highest possible rating on my senior thesis.

I approach each lesson and student as a chance to interact as individuals and foster learning and understanding. This could be anything from helping an undergrad edit a final paper to working with high school students in their first American Lit class. Every student has a different background and different needs. My philosophy is one of inclusivity and meeting students where they are. Literature can truly be for everyone, and I find a lot of joy in helping students connect with and understand a text on new levels.
