About Emily
I have just completed a degree in teaching, in which I undertook a range of placements across the Primary School Curriculum to suit a range of abilities at each stage. I have lead fun and engaging maths lessons to whole classes, as well as tutoring on an individual basis alongside my studies.

I believe children learn by play and engaging with what they are learning, rather than being 'lectured to' and this is reflected in my lessons. I also recognise the importance of including what children are interested in and have them very much involved in choosing how they would like to learn.
Children have an opportunity to use their knowledge in abstract ways and engage with a range of resources, including outdoor learning. This aids independence in a range of subjects, and allows children to engage with what they are learning in a way that suits them.
