As a recently retired school district administrator, I have continued my own professional growth and kept abreast of the most up to date research on how the brain learns to read. My passion has always been children’s literacy. I will be putting that passion plus my experience and expertise to work throughout our tutoring partnership.

I will offer to you or your child a personalized approach to improve their reading skills, from phonics to comprehension. We will delve into the root of you/your child’s reading deficiencies via a series of literacy diagnostics probes. From there we will develop your skill set up the literacy ladder through skill practice embedded with reading authentic literature! We WILL work hard but we will have FUN too!
