About Marian
I have been teaching over 40 years at the university level. I have had between 30 and 100 students each semester. A majority of the students have received a BS degree in land surveying and mapping and most have gone on to obtain their license as Professional Land Surveyors.

I like to listen to the questions students are asking and see where they might be getting off track. My goal it so coach and ask questions so that when they are working by themselves, they can remember the logic and be successful on their own.

Details
While it is true that there could be last minute schedule changes and emergencies, I look at a tutoring session like an agreement to go to lunch with a friend. If you can't make the meeting, you try to let your teacher know as soon as you see you cannot make the appointment. The first time this will be forgiven, but repeats of broken appointments will be charged for the time lost.
